1. Introduction

We built Omoik to help you collect feedback on your website in a simple, privacy-friendly way. By creating an account or using Omoik, you agree to follow these terms. These terms explain what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

2. What Omoik is

Omoik is an on-site feedback tool. It lets you ask questions to your website visitors and helps you understand their answers with AI.

We don’t use cookies, and we don’t collect personal data from your visitors. We only process anonymized information from your visitors.

3. Who can use Omoik

Omoik is made for businesses.

You can use the service if:

  • You run a company or represent one;
  • You give us correct information when signing up;
  • You follow the law and use Omoik for legal, ethical purposes

We may close or pause accounts that break these rules, don’t pay, or use Omoik for anything illegal.

You’re responsible for keeping your login details safe.

If you think someone else is using your account, please email [email protected] right away.

You can edit or delete your account any time from your dashboard.

5. Subscription and billing

  • Free trial: Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. You can cancel within those 7 days at no cost.
  • Plans: Choose monthly or yearly billing.
  • Payments: We use Stripe (for subscriptions via Omoik.com) and Shopify (for the Shopify App).
  • Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.
  • Cancel anytime: You can cancel through your Omoik dashboard. Your account stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds: We don’t offer refunds once a payment is processed.

6. Privacy and data

  • All customer data is hosted on our own servers in Germany (EU).
  • We follow GDPR and other European privacy rules.
  • We only process customer account data — never data from your website visitors.
  • Omoik uses localStorage only, no cookies.

We keep things private by design.

7. Service reliability

We work hard to keep Omoik online and running smoothly. Sometimes we’ll need to update or maintain the service. We’re not responsible for short interruptions or data loss, but we’ll always aim to fix issues quickly and keep you informed.

We try to reply within 3 business days.

9. Fair use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law using Omoik;
  • Collect personal data without consent;
  • Harm, overload, or try to hack our servers;
  • Copy or reverse-engineer our code.

If you do, we may suspend or close your account.

10. Our responsibility

We do our best to keep Omoik secure, available, and reliable — but we can’t promise perfection. We’re not liable for indirect damages (like loss of profit or data). If something goes wrong, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Ending your subscription

You can stop using Omoik whenever you want by canceling your plan.

We can also end your access if you:

  • Don’t pay,
  • Break these terms, or
  • Use Omoik for harmful or illegal activities.

When your account ends, we’ll delete your data safely within a reasonable time.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law.

If there’s ever a legal dispute, it will be handled by the court of Groningen, The Netherlands.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make big changes, we’ll tell you by email or in your dashboard.

By continuing to use Omoik, you agree to the new version.
